My husband and I are going skiing tomorrow, and his status for moving abroad (here) just got sped up, which is really nice amid all the bad.

Looking forward to building a life together while having some awesome adventures :D

They all already do. Not getting vaccines exposes you to deadly diseases that destroy your body and polish off the young and old. Measles is basically a superweapon that wipes your immune system and makes you extremely vulnerable to other diseases (in addition to terrifying and lethal complications). And the vaccine makes you 97% immune.

The virus is explosively infectious, and hangs in the air for hours, so anyone that didn’t get vaccinated is totally boned.

Yeah, expensive up front, but the blades are cheap. I got on the Harry’s train before they got bought up and were cheap. Now, whoever bought them has been jacking up prices, which had me looking for a cheaper alternative.

Harry’s also gave me plastic guilt. There is a lot of waste. :p

Don’t get the one I got, lol. I’m probably going back to a non-smartwatch after problems with my tic watch.

I recently switched to a Leaf one and love it. It’s about the same as my Harry’s razor, but a hell of a lot less expensive when even Costco is selling their reloads at $27. The leaf blades are way less expensive, and they aren’t even proprietary.

Wrist watches. Extremely convenient, even when your phone is buried or you don’t want to be distracted.

Reading a paper book, playing balatro on mobile. I’m not using my phone as much, not with the current events happening.

National and local newspapers, national and local news stations.

Personally, I’d relax and just not doomscroll. You two are dating, you’re having fun, you have your whole lives ahead of you. Yeah, your prev BF was a dick, but this new guy ain’t him.

But I also wouldn’t try and control him, or corner him. He’s a different person. If you were in his shoes, and your bf was monitoring your socials and having people block you, I’d feel a bit unnerved.

IDC if my SO hangs out with other people or likes raunchy stuff on socials, because we each agreed on a set of rules, and we both follow them. If we are unsure of something, we sit down and talk to each other about it. Communication is key, and it helps us avoid uncomfortable situations or hurt feelings. :)

My tempered glass sunroof blew apart while I was driving. Manufacturing defect. A woman had the same problem the same week (2015 glass, around 2019).

It was insanely loud. Like a shotgun going off by your head. :p

Check out refilleries in your area if you have them. You’ll pay a bit of a premium, but they are usually high quality, local goods and low/no plastic. Usually stuff like soaps, personal care, that sort of thing. They are a godsend if you or someone you know is allergic to fragrance(s) too, as they have a variety of unscented soaps, dishwasher detergent, etc.

And, you get to bring your own bottles to refill, which is kinda nice if you like to buy in bulk.

Sugar is gonna be hard to find, since it has to be imported, unless you have sugarbeet farms in your area.

Yeah, too expressive. Though I’m counting the smile at the beginning as canon, considering he was finally able to regain control over Freeman for the first time since he was foiled by the vorts at the beginning of EP1. I love that smile.

Probably the G-man, from Half life. Complex, interesting, and definitely not human, despite outward appearances.

He radiates the same aura as Randall Flagg in Stephen King’s book, titled The Stand. But he isn’t wholly evil.
