I’ve had the same experience. I had sensitivity to cold foods, regular Sensodyne helped, but the Novamin formulation took the pain away entirely.
I think it depends on the property and the amount of repairs you can afford.
We budgeted .5% of the cost of the house for repairs annually - put it aside in a separate account so you can replace the roof/furnace/etc without taking a lifestyle hit.

Generally, I think most people can come to an understanding through frank conversation (modulo racist whackos, etc). That rarely happens on social media, but each ideology having their own platform pushes the chance to zero.
