My dad had a wound pump from a bed sore. The wound was terrible. It had developed a an awful smell. No amount of antibiotics ever fixed it. My dad eventually died. Not because of the wound… Well, yeah, but it is ultimately that, was decades of diabetes and being overweight.

Yeah, I can’t stop thinking about that show either.

I do IT category management, sourcing/procurement for F500 companies. Been doing it for like 15 years and I don’t know what else I would be doing. I like the work. It’s challenging, changes enough, and there is a mix of strategic and tactical work. Notably, I don’t get burned out with it.

In the USA, it would be to metric. Pretty much everywhere else in the US, NASA, military, science, it’s all metric.
