Self hosters do it to absorb the burden and avoid playing subscriptions. I don’t pay for Netflix because I don’t want to have the monthly fee (among other things), I host Plex myself and deal with all the server and library maintenance. If I have to pay a subscription to self host it’s a step backwards lol.

I bought the lifetime back in 2013 so I have no complaints, but the month to month is a rip off.

I’m in the same boat as you. I researched it a bit. Yes, Soylent Green is a movie. It is a meal replacement product made up of human remains. The movie takes place in 2022. The real Soylent is not human remains (or is it? 🤣).

Depends on your clients I guess. I don’t use mine for that since the corp world is so heavy on the MS software, and lots of RAT have mixed results on Linux. I just use a Windows machine for that and leave my deck for my gaming.

If he’s talking about the revolution, is he talking about against or for trump? To me it sounded the opposite, wouldn’t a revolution be against what is at present, which is trump?
