Yeah, with time they get more and more cheeky. Depending on how you raised them of course. A common occurrence is a toddler offering you something and then pulling away when you reach for it and dying of laughter.

I always like chopping all the vegetables I have and throwing them into a pot of mashed tomatoes. Throw in some minced meat or small noodles if it tickles your fancy.

The Steam Deck literally is a PC. If for some inane reason you can’t get it to do what you want you can install Windows on it.

I think the only reason emulation is “worse” on it than on PC can be that a desktop PC has more power. Almost all emulators in general usage are open source and have Linux versions.

There are also no problems with running pirated Windows games. By now the only games that are problematic on Linux are multiplayer games with kernel level anti cheat that hasn’t been configured to work on Linux.

The Steam Deck is better than the Switch in almost every aspect. It just doesn’t come with detachable controllers. That’s it.

So if you want a portable console with detachable controllers buy a Switch. Otherwise there is no reason not to get a Deck.

Everything I said still applies. Feelings are feelings. You cannot choose how you feel. What matters is if you act on them.

Don’t worry about still having feelings for your ex. That’s normal. You used to like him after all. And even if your relationship did not work out he is still mostly the same person. But what you miss are his good parts and the good times you had with him.

This is normal and nothing to worry about. Accept these feelings for what they are. Nothing is wrong with having them. It doesn’t mean that you like your girlfriend any less.

They’re all still too expensive for me. Like Flight Simulator 2020. I do believe the effort they put into it is probably worth 35 €. But I wouldn’t play enough for it to be worth 35 € for me. And I’m still salty about the time when they accidentally discounted it by 85 % instead of 15 % and snatched it right out of my cart when I was about to pay.

Oh, and Snickers ice cream. It conjures up images of vacationing in Holland or Denmark and trying to fish for crabs with a cord and a cracked open clam. For some reason I feel like the clam tastes like the caramel from the Snickers.

Lemon in an absolutely tasteless cone. I don’t have a specific image in my head except for the ice in one of those factory made cones.

Plus the song Gelato Al Limon by Paolo Conte. My parents had it on cassette and we would hear it in the car all the time.

Uhm, we haven’t even managed to make fusion produce net energy with a large reactor. What makes you think that we could do it on the scale of a car?

Edit: Now I read your comment. It doesn’t matter where the pressure comes from. The hard part is sustaining and controlling the fusion in a way that we can extract more energy from it than we put in.

I’m more of a grandpa-in-the-bed-at-charlie’s-family guy. My job is not dying and hoping that my country’s social security will be enough.

Has anyone even seen Threads content anywhere? I’m not blocking Threads on my instance either. Neither am I blocking Nazi instances. Not because I endorse either of those things. Just because I have never even seen them. Easy enough to rectify if they ever pop up.

I mean, that’s basically how yt-dlp came to be. They took over when yt-download couldn’t keep up anymore. I hate this time, it will take a while until the best successor is found.

I have mixed feelings about Doom 1993 and Doom 2. Used to play that with my brother, which was great. But eventually he’d start killing me instead of demons until I cried, which was bad.

Still great games.

Hopefully not. Although I wouldn’t put it past Merz to still form a coalition with the AfD. But the SPD is usually pretty weak willed. He’ll probably like that in a coalition partner.

I think the next four years will really show what German democracy is worth. I suspect that the last government was the last chance we had at starting a ban initiative.
