The second one mainly.
The second one mainly.
I don’t do that anymore. I just use a Debrid service and enjoy consistent 1Gbps download speeds.
I’d argue that YouTube censors way more than reddit does. (Not to imply that reddit isn’t evil, cause it is.)
If I say anything even remotely leftist, I get a “some activity may not appear yet” message showing in my YT comment history, and the comment doesn’t appear when I log out. Yet any comment promoting MAGA and Fascism shows up just fine. Yet nobody ever talks about it anywhere on the web. Why aren’t we discussing this clear and blatant bias?
IDK I only use public trackers.
Buy a smartwatch and let it figure it out for you. Samsung watches are great for fitness.
No more than I would if I used a Torrent client instead of Debrid. You’re still downloading the same torrents as everyone else. (I don’t really understand the question.)
I just use a Debrid service for my torrents now. Consistent 1Gbps download speeds and no ratios to worry about. It’s way better (and cheaper) than a private tracker or a seedbox.
If you have to count beats in your head, you’re already failing as a DJ. Knowing when to drop the next tune should come naturally.
Read some music theory if you have to, and definitely spend time listening more closely to your tunes. Try to think about how your music is structured as you’re listening to it. Identify the intro, chorus, verses, bridge(s), etc.
With enough critical listening (and practice on the decks), you’ll no longer have to count beats to know where you are in the song and when to start the mix. It’ll eventually become second nature for you.
Impossible. I don’t comment that much
Lemmy still has comment karma. Mine’s at 1500.
Definitely not; DDG has always been bad. However, as others have pointed out, Google is getting worse and every day. That said, it’s still better than DDG, which isn’t saying much.
There are no good search engines anymore. I got tired of having to add site:reddit.com to all or my searches to get actual answers, so now I’ve resorted to using AI and pretending that it isn’t just making up half the shit it spews. Perplexity is a half decent replacement for a search engine; it’s more accurate than most and it cites its sources:
Is this a joke question?
No.
As someone with misophonia, this is the one augment that will have me standing in line to be among the first to sign up. I would love nothing more than to be able to mute my girlfriend’s annoying birds and their stupid repetitive screaming.
All those features you mentioned, plus the ability to focus my ears on specific sounds while eliminating the rest. Sign me the fuck up.
Congrats on staying in shape. My body is falling apart at 37, because I didn’t take care of myself.
Currently a 350Z Roadster Touring. But in the past I’ve had a Genesis Coupe 3.8 BK1, an RSX Type-S, a 3rd gen Eclipse Spyder GT, a second gen 240SX, and an eighth gen Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart. All with a manual, of course.
In my teens and early 20s I used to enjoy snowboarding. I was never any good at it, but at least I could make it down the mountain. Tried again in my 30s, and I could barely even stand on the board. Never made it off the practice hill.
Getting in and out of cars is painful now. Especially since I drive 90s and 2000s Japanese sports cars, which have a tendency to sit so low that it feels like your ass is dragging on the pavement when you drive them. I have no idea how I’m going to be able to continue driving them 20, 30, 40 years from now. I don’t want a giant modern car. Even sedans are SUV-sized these days.
I’m guessing you’ve never been to a GameStop before? They were always trying to upsell you a magazine subscription at checkout.
