Pretty much everwhere I’ve worked; there’s a no alcohol or drugs clause in the employment contract/policies. So officially it’s not permitted; but one beer, or a couple hits from a dab pen (weed vape) hasn’t been uncommon in most places either; just don’t let management see it.

DRM prevents that. Your graphics drivers will refuse to release the video info to the screen capture software leaving you with an empty black rectangle in the video. Otherwise a lot more people would do this.

You might be able to use either a capture card to grab the actual video signal being output by the machine; or a VM with the capture software running outside it on the host. I’ve never tried the latter, but I’m told it works.

I began paying rent to my Mother once I began working and left high school, contributing to the household bills + food. Cost of living and all that; even if your parents own the home, keeping it and supplying food+utilities isn’t free. I don’t resent her for that at all; I can’t say I’d expect anything different.
